Kalladen's next Mid-reign & Chancellor Election will be held as a one day event in August. Date will be forthcoming. If you wish to declare your intent to run for this office, please announce in this forum.
30.00 General Qualifications of Club Officials
30.1 Any officer that handles club funds must be 18 years of age or older (this includes the offices of Monarch, Regent [as the Regent shall ascend the throne if for any reason Monarch steps down], and Chancellor).
30.2 The following officers must be at least 16 years of age or older: Champion, Guildmaster of Reeves Guild.
30.3 Any greater officer candidate must have accumulated at least a total of 18 weeks of experience between all of their classes (Reeve, Player Character, Monster, and Colour
30.4 Any greater officer candidate must have attended at least four (4) weeks during the previous reign.
30.5 No club member may run for more than one Major Office during the same election.
30.6 Major offices may only be filled by dues-paid members.
3.00 Chancellor (Duties & Responsibilities)
3.1 Election of the office of Chancellor is described in Section 21.00: Elections.
3.1.1 Elections for the office of Chancellor shall be held every six months at Mid-Reign.
3.1.2 Shall be addressed as “Your Grace”.
3.1.3 May use the seal and coat of arms of the Chancellery of Kalladen during term.
3.2 Holds office with the powers and responsibilities set forth below for six (6) consecutive months.
3.3 Shall descend from office if he or she misses more than three (3) weeks in a row or more than six (6) weeks total during term.
3.4 Not required to pay admission fees to any official club events.
3.5 Must appoint (with the assistance of the Monarch and Regent) impartial representatives of the populace to conduct all elections.
3.6 Is responsible for Allthing activities and associated tasks.
3.6.1 Presides over and conducts Allthings as set forth in Section 19.00: Allthings.
3.6.2 Must report results of Allthings and all elections to current Monarch immediately after tabulation.
3.6.3 Must publicly report results of Allthings and all elections to populace at large as soon as possible.
3.7 The Monarch and Chancellor may jointly spend up to 10% of the treasury each month in order to run the club. Any expenditure larger than 10% of the treasury must be approved by an Allthing.
3.8 Must receive and provide receipts for all financial transactions.
3.8.1 Must collect all fees and membership dues.
3.8.2 Shall maintain and keep accurate records of all club income and expenditures (and provide these records upon request of any dues paid member).
3.8.3 Shall be responsible for the safety of the Treasury and provide all club moneys and records upon request of the Monarch.
3.9 Must maintain membership information files.
3.9.1 Must keep accurate records on dues paid status of all members.
3.9.2 Must keep accurate records of attendance of all members.
3.9.3 Must keep accurate records of all Awards, Knighthoods, Titles of Nobility, and other honors that are presented to club members.
3.10 Shall be responsible for distributing a rulebook and Corpora to new members upon receipt of at least six months worth of dues.
3.11 May appoint a Court Scribe.
3.11.1 May create new appointed officers to perform any function within the Chancellery (to aid the Chancellor in his or her duties) as long as the office does not conflict with the responsibilities of any officer of the club. These officers may be dismissed at the Chancellor’s discretion.
3.12 May receive a title of nobility at completion of term (titles defined in Section 24.00: Titles of Nobility).
